A key role of the CCA is to handle enquiries from members about a wide range of issues, including new legislation, legal compliance, staff training and customer service. The CCA team is always available during office hours to take members' calls and answer questions or give advice.

The CCA's Law Committee tracks all changes to UK and EU law and keeps members up to date with new legislation.

Regional & National Events

Annual Convention
Our Annual Convention is a chance for members to get together, share experiences and discuss issues affecting the home credit industry and their individual businesses.  Our convention programme always includes excellent guest speakers, topical presentations and plenty of networking opportunities.

Regional Meetings
The CCA's proactive regional groups offer members the opportunity to meet other local businesses twice a year to share best practice and discuss industry issues.

Workshops & Seminars
The CCA regularly holds free training events to ensure that our members and their staff are up to date with current legislation and industry best practice.

To keep members informed about changes in the industry and additional new business opportunities, the CCA runs a series of roadshows across the UK. The venues are selected to enable members to attend at a place and on a date convenient to them.

The CCA provides a range of free training to ensure that our members operate effectively and comply with current legislation and official guidance.

Free Policies & Procedures Writing Kit
The CCA's Policies and Procedures Writing Kit (on CD) is available free of charge to assist members with the writing of policies and procedures. 

The Kit consists of a selection of templates which are relevant to home credit businesses and can be adapted to suit your individual business size and processes.  Templates are available for Business Generation, Customer Service, Business Integrity and Employment.

Members can use our standard CCA letters to ensure overdue accounts are highlighted and settled.

Removed Accounts Collection
If customers move to another area, the CCA can arrange collections in the new area for accounts less than six months old.
